Rock Busted.
Apparently I wasn’t the only one when i said
”I also didn’t play guitar because for some reason it wouldn’t register down strums, just up, which sucks.”
Many people are starting to report the same problem with thier copies of the game.

No commentsSocks’ Movie Reviews: Beowulf
Robert Zumeckis sure knows how to make a movie. Not a good movie, not a bad movie, but simply a movie. If there was ever another movie like Beowulf that was the complete epitome of average, well, I don’t know, I’ve probably seen it and completely forgotten about it by now. That being said, I’m fairly confident that Beowulf is not a movie that will be remembered in half a year, nine months tops. If you want to know my it’s so mediocre, then be my guest and read on. Otherwise, you can overlook the rest of this review just as much as you can overlook this movie.

Anyone who has seen Ong Bak knows that Tony Jaa kicks marvelous ass on the big screen. Anybody who’s able to throw a kick after doing a double somersault without the use of wires or CGI definately deserves a “Oh… My… God…” when watching. So when I had heard that Tony Jaa had another movie out, I had to give it a looking at.

Socks’ Movie Reviews: American Gangster
Every once in a while, a movie comes along that’s just pure entertainment, movies like Pulp Fiction and Trainspotting. On November 2nd, 2007, another one was released, going by a rather catchy title, American Gangster. This movie isn’t moving, it isn’t emotional. This movie is all about just plain entertainment. If you haven’t already seen the bootleg, then you may not need this review. However, this isn’t stopping me from contributing to this blog!
4 commentsSuper Mario Galaxy: Impression
We’ve been waiting for this motherfucker for about a year now, and we finally have it.
It was worth the wait, because this is one of the best, if not the best Mario game ever.
The story is basically the same as every other Mario game. Bowser decides to fuck up your Star Festival and kidnaps Ms. Always-Kidnapped Princess Peach (A Super Paper Mario reference? Impossible). You then awake on a planet where you play Hide and Seek with some weird star things called Lumas, and then you find out to save Peach you need to go out and collect Power and Grand Stars.
Free PC: Ragdoll Masters
Debut article. Easy subject matter. Stuff about great free PC games that aren’t Cave Story. I’ve been awake for 36 hours straight.
Let’s do this.
Ragdoll Masters is a sort of freeform, floaty fighting game. You and your opponent(s) are a white stick figure and black stick figure(s), stuck in a square room with no gravity. To win, whack your opponent until they explode in a shower of dots. Not one for graphics or a premise, this. The (only) focus is on the battling, which is a real winner thanks to the brilliant physics engine.
Unfortunately, I can’t be arsed to explain any of it. Just watch this to get the basic idea, then go here to download it. That will be all.

7 commentsWorld of Warcraft, Patch 2.3 and you!
Well, anyone who has any interest at all in World of Warcraft will know that it is getting its latest major content patch this week after weekly maintenance.
This has been highly anticipated, the last two major patches to be added into the game, shockingly 2.1 and 2.2, were major disappointments. Voice Chat added in 2.2 is almost completely useless, since any guild who wants to use VC just uses Vent anyway and several months since its introduction into the game in patch 2.1, the Black Temple has remained mostly untouched by most realms. It is not uncommon for realms to only have two guilds progressing as far as MH/BT. This shows Blizzards major failure in relation to end-game content that was seen preBC(Burning Crusade, WoW’s first expansion for those of you not in the know), in which only a handful of hardcore raiding guilds will ever see the “real” end-game. Very few guilds hit Naxxramas(And many that did never saw past the first five bosses) and even fewer have seen BT. This is like a master painter spending years on his masterpiece and then only letting 1 in 25 people who want, in to see it.
